Race Weekend Itinerary

Friday 20th:

  • 4:00 pm - Expo
  • 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm sign in
  • 7:00 pm - Welcome to Country (Gumbucka People)
  • 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm:
    • Race brief
    • Comments from 2015 champions
    • Random Prize draws

Saturday 21st:

  • 5:00 am - 5:45 am Sign in for both 50km and 100km
  • 6:00 am - 100km start
  • 7:00 am - 50km start

Note: Sign-in times are non-negotiable. Event crew will be tied up with other duties in the time before race start. If you have not registered on Friday evening or in the slot prior to the 100km start, you risk the possibility of starting late (after the 50km start).

Our preference is that as many as possible sign in on the Friday night. This makes for a much smoother Saturday morning for all concerned.

Race Conditions and Equipment

We don't have 'Big Brother' complex at Run Queensland, but participation in the event is conditional on some rules and conditions that need to be adhered to in order to ensure the safety of both participants and event crew.

Note: Race conditions, instructions, rules and mandatory equipment apply to ensure the safety of runners and race crew alike. Breach of any may result in disqualification.

The Blackall 100 course

Starting and finishing at the QCCC, the event has three main sections:

  1. Kondalilla Falls (100km only)
  2. Gheerulla Falls
  3. Kureelpa Falls (100km includes Coolalabin Dam)

Details of both the 100km and 50km routes can be downloaded from the links below *:
